Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding the existing data landscape and collaborating to design and refine data models that support both current and future business needs. This position requires continuous interaction to gather requirements, analyze data structures, and ensure that data models align with organizational goals and technical standards. The Data Modeler plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation through effective communication and detailed data modeling activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and maintenance of data models to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling efforts with overall data strategy and business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Experience with data modeling tools and software to create logical and physical data models.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data structures.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data governance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data architecture.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
