Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong foundational skills across frontend and backend technologies. This role involves owning features end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

Feature Development And Ownership

• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to implementation and testing
• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable code
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks

 

Frontend Development

• Build responsive web applications using React and TypeScript
• Develop reusable, component-based UI aligned with design specifications
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs, including error handling and validation
• Implement UI using Material UI (or equivalent)

 

Testing And Quality Assurance

• Write unit tests using Jest for components and functions
• Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios using Playwright
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability

 

Backend Development

• Develop APIs using C# .NET, including:
• Controller and service layer implementation
• Implement CRUD operations and basic business logic
• Work with data storage solutions:
• Azure SQL for relational data
• Cosmos DB for NoSQL use cases
• Support basic data modelling and query optimization

 

Platform & Cloud Awareness

• Use Docker for local development and container builds
• Work with Azure platform components, including:
• Azure Functions and Logic Apps (basic understanding)
• Monitoring and diagnostics tools
• Support deployment processes and troubleshooting

 

DevOps And CI/CD

• Execute and monitor Azure DevOps pipelines
• Assist with build, release, and environment troubleshooting
• Ensure smooth integration across development and deployment workflows
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

 

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong fundamentals in full-stack development
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Material UI
• Hands-on experience with C# .NET API development
• Familiarity with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
• Experience with Jest and Playwright for testing
• Working knowledge of Docker and Azure cloud basics
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD processes

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience working in agile and cross-functional teams
• Exposure to cloud-native application development
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices

 

What we look for:

• Proven experience in end-to-end feature development and ownership with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and Material UI for building responsive web applications.
• Solid backend development skills in C# .NET, API design, and working with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Strong focus on testing and quality assurance using Jest and Playwright to ensure reliable and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), containerization (Docker), and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline management.
