Senior Techincal Engineer - UKG

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled UKG Techno-Functional Consultant with 5–8 years of experience in UKG implementations and strong expertise in Dell Boomi integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UKG Workforce Management (WFM), particularly Time & Attendance, and be capable of designing, developing, and supporting integrations using Boomi.

 

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end UKG (Kronos) implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and support UKG WF Pro (T&A) modules, including pay rules, work rules, accruals, and Attendance (preferred), activities (Preferred).
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and production validation for UKG implementations and enhancements.
• Provide functional expertise in workforce management processes and best practices.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between UKG and third-party systems using Boomi.
• Build and support API, file-based, and middleware integrations ensuring data accuracy and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including data discrepancies and interface failures.
• Create detailed technical documentation for integrations, workflows, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with technical and infrastructure teams on deployment and environment setup.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in UKG (Kronos) implementations and support.
• Strong experience in UKG Workforce Management – Time & Attendance module.
• Proven hands-on experience in Dell Boomi integration development.
• Boomi Certification (Professional Developer or equivalent) – Mandatory.
• Experience in integration design patterns, APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
• Strong understanding of data transformation, error handling, and integration monitoring.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other UKG modules (Scheduling, Absence Management, Workforce Analytics).
• Knowledge of HR/Payroll systems integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and REST/SOAP APIs.
• UKG or Kronos certifications (nice to have).
