ROLE SUMMARY

A detail-oriented QA/Test Analyst with experience in the Loan Origination System (LOS) domain, responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of applications through both manual and automation testing. The role involves validating end-to-end loan workflows, building and maintaining automated test scripts, performing API and data validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Transactional 

  • Validate end-to-end transaction flows across LOS, including login, KYC, credit evaluation, approval, and disbursement stages 
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of loan processing transactions across different products (BL, LAP, HL, etc.) 
  • Perform testing on real-time data transactions and batch processing flows 
  • Verify data integrity between systems (LOS, BRE, third-party integrations like Finbox/Finnone) 
  • Validate document workflows, including upload, verification, OCR outputs, and document mapping 
  • Test disbursement processes, including amount calculation, beneficiary validation, and account transfers 
  • Validate exception handling and deviation workflows (e.g., RCU bypass, approval deviations) 
  • Ensure correct functioning of dedupe logic, customer identification, and re-submission scenarios 
  • Test API-based transactional flows and ensure proper request-response handling 
  • Validate operational reports (MIS) for accuracy and completeness of transactional data 
  • Ensure proper testing of user roles, permissions, and operational controls within the system 
  • Support OPS team queries/issues by analyzing system behavior and identifying defects 
  • Perform production validation (post-release) to ensure smooth functioning of live transactions 
  • Monitor and verify system behavior under different operational scenarios, ensuring minimal disruption

 

Process Improvement

 

  • Identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency through automation and optimized test processes 
  • Continuously review and improve test strategies, test coverage, and execution methodologies 
  • Recommend and implement process standardization across testing activities 
  • Analyze recurring defects and suggest root cause fixes to prevent reoccurrence 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline loan processing workflows and reduce manual intervention 
  • Drive automation adoption to improve test coverage and reduce turnaround time 
  • Suggest improvements in system validation, business rules (BRE), and data accuracy checks 
  • Work towards reducing defect leakage into production by strengthening QA practices 
  • Identify gaps in requirements, BRDs, and user stories, and propose enhancements 
  • Improve MIS/reporting accuracy and availability through better validation mechanisms 
  • Support adoption of best practices in QA and DevOps processes 
  • Recommend enhancements to user experience and operational efficiency based on testing insights 
  • Monitor and improve release quality and deployment readiness
