Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Synology Storage Administrator P2 to manage maintain and support Synology NAS infrastructure The ideal candidate should have handson experience in Synology DSM administration storage management backup solutions performance monitoring troubleshooting and security configuration

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Synology NAS devices across enterprise environments

Configure and manage Synology DSM DiskStation Manager

Perform storage provisioning RAID configuration volume management and capacity planning

Monitor NAS health performance and storage utilization

Configure and manage shared folders user accounts groups and access permissions

Implement and support backup and recovery solutions using

Hyper Backup

Snapshot Replication

Active Backup Suite

Perform firmware upgrades patching and system maintenance activities

Troubleshoot hardware storage networking and performancerelated issues

Configure and maintain CIFSSMB NFS FTP and iSCSI services

Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives

Implement security best practices including encryption MFA firewall policies and antivirus configurations

Generate reports and maintain operational documentation

Work with vendors and internal teams during incident resolution and maintenance activities

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Certifications

Synology Certified Administrator SCA

Synology Certified Professional SCP

Microsoft or Linux Administration Certifications Preferred

Soft Skills

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and within support teams

Good incident and problem management skills

Customerfocused approach and stakeholder management

Nice to Have

VMwareHyperV integration with Synology
