Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and validates architectural proofs to assess the feasibility and robustness of the cloud environment, ensuring that infrastructure and platform setups are optimized for operational success. Collaboration with various teams to align deployment strategies and troubleshoot integration challenges is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud infrastructure with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and validate architecture proofs for cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with performance testing and optimization of cloud applications.
- Skilled in integrating cloud and non-cloud systems for seamless operation.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
