Cash / Pay on delivery is the largest instrument of choice by customers on Amazon.in (and in other similar emerging markets where we are expanding) – this despite the rapid advances in digital payments technology space. Customers continue to prefer Pay on Delivery (POD), not only because they want to pay by cash (indeed half of our COD customers pay digitally at doorstep!) – but because it solves many other needs for them – Building trust in the Amazon marketplace, peace of mind to only pay when the item is delivered, and not block money until then, ordering for friends and family who are not digitally savvy etc.

There is a need to continuously shape the POD offering to make it the most customer friendly and overall more sustainable business lever for Amazon, innovating on core tech architecture and also enabling more methods to pay in cash and digitally at doorstep.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to help transform Pay on Delivery to the most customer friendly and sustainable Payment Method. This Product Leader will partner with multi-disciplinary teams across Last Miles, Payments, Stores, Delivery experience, Payment Experience to drive product development and management for Onsite, Post-order and Doorstep CX for POD customers.




Key job responsibilities
• Own and drive Core POD Architecture Enhancement and Resilience
• Single threaded leader to drive digital payments post order and at doorstep for POD Customers
• Actively engage with leaders of other Partner teams and guide and influence the plans for POD CX transformation, scale up and efficiency.
• Make high-judgment trade-offs between opportunity, resources, and sustainability
• Establish scalable mechanisms for cross-team collaboration and operational excellence

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience across Last Mile Delivery Product Development and Management
