Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures alignment with project goals, fostering collaboration and driving the project forward through effective communication and problem-solving.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application design and development activities to meet project objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software components.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and their application within software solutions.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday Financial modules to align with organizational requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday Financial Accounting Core implementations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
