Position: MSD_F&O Functional Manager – Finance & Operations

The Opportunity

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Manager – Finance & Operations at EY GDS, you will lead enterprise-scale D365 F&O transformation programs across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, and Project Operations domains. You will work closely with global clients to drive business transformation, process optimization, implementation of delivery, and innovation through Microsoft AI, Copilot, and Agent technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions across Finance and Operations.
• Manage business process analysis, solution design, fit-gap assessments, and functional documentation.
• Conduct executive workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Lead implementation lifecycle including architecture, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Manage global rollouts and business process standardization initiatives.
• Support pre-sales, solution demonstrations, proposals, estimations, and RFP responses.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered automation, and business process optimization.
• Mentor consultants and manage offshore delivery teams.

 

Skills and Attributes for Success

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and AX 2012.
• Strong expertise in Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Reporting).
• Good knowladge  in Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution.
• Experience with Manufacturing, Production Control, BOM, Routes, MRP, Shop Floor Control, and Quality Management.
• Experience with Retail & Commerce, POS, Pricing & Promotions, Loyalty Management.
• Experience with Project Management & Accounting and Project Operations.
• Understanding of P2P, O2C, R2R, Project-to-Profit, Intercompany, and Multi-company environments.
• Knowledge of AI, Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Understanding of DMF, ER, Business Events, Dual Write, Azure DevOps, and LCS.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• 10–15+ years of ERP consulting experience.
• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience.
• Minimum 5 full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Strong expertise across Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Retail, Projects, and Project Operations.
• Experience with at least 5 enterprise integrations.
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading global implementation teams.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, SureStep, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications such as MB-310 and MB-330 preferred.

 

Ideally, You Will Also Have

• Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services and Power Platform.
• Experience supporting pre-sales and solution architecture initiatives.
• Experience across Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, and Professional Services industries.
• Experience in multi-country and multi-legal entity environments.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
