Summary:
As an IT Customer Service Representative, a typical day involves overseeing the smooth delivery of IT production systems and services. This role requires managing incidents, issues, and outages by coordinating timely investigations and ensuring prompt restoration of services. The position demands continuous monitoring and proactive communication to maintain system reliability and support operational efficiency within the IT environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address operational challenges.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders regarding incident status and resolution progress.
- Document incident reports and service restoration activities to support continuous improvement.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and big data processing concepts.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within production IT environments.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of incidents.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline operational tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining service availability and reliability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
