Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, particularly in ITSM applications, and will collaborate with internal teams, implementation partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Your Job

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow (ITSM, HRSD, GRC/IRM)
• Develop scripts using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow scripting framework
• Configure core components such as Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Script Includes
• Build workflows/flows, automate processes, and support system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Develop catalog items and solutions using Studio and Flow Designer
• Work on modules including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Portal, Asset Management, and Performance Analytics
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to convert requirements into technical solutions
• Support upgrades, deployment, and testing (QA/UAT) activities
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure high-performance platform delivery

Other Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), security, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Strong experience in ServiceNow development (5–10 years overall IT experience)
• Extensive hands-on experience in ITSM modules
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, XML, AJAX
• Good understanding of ITIL processes
• Experience in integrations and platform customization
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CSA (Certified System Administrator) – Mandatory
• CIS-ITSM, CIS-HR – Good to have
• Experience in HRSD and GRC/IRM modules
