\ABOUT THE ROLE
Indirect Purchase Buyer manages all the indirect material/Service procurement like tools, dies, consumables, MRO packaging, AMCs etc. He will be responsible for monthly MIS activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Oversee the indirect spend at Enterprise level through centralise RFQs, Price negotiations, Rate Contract, contract negotiation and manage ongoing supplier relations
•Actively work with all other stakeholders on improving the supply base, spend management, Single source risk mitigation and payment terms.
•Timely execution of all the supplier contracts in coordination with commodity teams.
•Effectively manage the day to day procurement activities of the plants ensuring smooth running of the plants. Ensure timely conversion of PR to PO activity.
•Execute productivity project, close monitoring of indirect price movement and effective negotiations with suppliers.
•Actively engage in effective implementation of purchasing tools, processes (GPP and local), guidelines.
•Improve suppliers on quality and delivery.
•Work closely with Purchase Manager to ensure purchasing Audit compliance (Quality system, processes and Purchasing Process Controls & SOX compliance)

 

PRFERRED

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management or Logistics.
• MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing and supply chain management with exposure to indirect material and services
• Demonstrated background and proven experience with supplier negotiations and materials management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Purchasing or Materials Management with a preference for high-volume manufacturing industries, should have handled variety of parts with smaller volumes.
