About the Role

SKIDATA India is looking for Service Technicians to join our Field Services team at Hyderabad International Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly critical and dynamic airport environment, ensuring the smooth operation of automated parking and access control systems while supporting a 24/7 service delivery model.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining system uptime, responding to incidents, coordinating with customers, and supporting daily operational activities in line with contractual service-level requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine system checks during every shift.
• Monitor and respond to breakdowns, alarms, and system alerts on a 24/7 basis.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the customer regarding consumables inventory, replenishment, and management.
• Support customer queries related to reports and technical issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the SKIDATA India Technical Support Team.
• Ensure compliance with customer SLAs and operational procedures.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Experience in field service, technical support, maintenance, or troubleshooting of hardware/software systems preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking, computers, and electromechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Customer-focused approach and willingness to work in a critical operational environment.

 

Desired Attributes

• Experience working in airports, parking systems, automation, or similar environments will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Quick response and decision-making skills under pressure.
