Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Lead
Location: Bengaluru, India
Role Overview
The ServiceNow Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a team in delivering both out-of-the-box/new custom-configured solutions and system integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with strategic leadership, ensuring operational support and platform evolution align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of ServiceNow projects, including scoping, designing and documenting technical specifications, estimating, development, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide scalable solutions.
- Define, maintain, and ensure compliance with architectural, coding, and configurations standards and best practices for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and maintaining the platform.
- Guide the design and delivery of technical integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
- Stay current with ServiceNow upgrades and new features to ensure platform optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ServiceNow developers.
- Coordinate with solution architects, business analysts, project managers, scrum masters, and project sponsors to ensure alignment between technical delivery and business objectives.
- Oversee platform stability, usability, and performance across production and non-production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITOM, ITSM, CSM, IRM, TPSM, and Agile.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions using industry best practices.
- Experience with scoped application builds, integrations, upgrades, and delivering to project schedule.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and process automation.
Leadership & Communication
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Critical thinking and pragmatic decision-making to optimize platform architecture and delivery.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, HRSD, IRM
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
