Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC support, and enhancement project. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP MM processes in SAP ECC
• Work on end-to-end procurement lifecycle including:

-> Purchase Requisitions (PR)

-> Requests for Quotation (RFQ)

-> Purchase Orders (PO)

-> Contracts and Scheduling Agreements

-> Goods Receipt

-> Invoice Verification

• Configure and support Inventory Management processes.
• Hands on experience in configuration of Release strategy.
• Manage vendor master data and material master data.
• Perform requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.
• Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLAs.
• Create user manuals and conduct end-user training sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP SD, FI/CO and ABAP.
• Knowledge of LSMW/Data Migration activities.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required Skills

SAP MM Functional Expertise

• Strong experience on SAP ECC 6 and S4HANA is an advantage.
• Configuration experience in:
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory Management
  • Logistics Invoice Verification
  • Release Strategy
  • Account Determination
  • Output Determination
  • Pricing Procedures
  • Material Master
  • Vendor Master
  • Batch Management
  • Stock Transfers

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 1 end-to-end implementation project in SAP MM.
• Experience in support, rollout, and enhancement projects.
• Exposure to procurement processes in manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA procurement processes is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• SAP MM Certification is preferred.
