This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project.
• Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements.
• Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program; assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings.
• Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.
• Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
• Understands the company strategy and the role that the individual plays.
• Uses knowledge tools and re- uses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development.
• Uses and contributes to technical forums within the company environment and local professional communities and technical user groups.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• 5+ years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).

Knowledge and Skills:

We are seeking skilled Flutter Developers with 4+ years of experience in building cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. The role requires strong expertise in Flutter, Dart, and mobile app development practices, with a focus on performance, user experience, and integration with backend services.

Key Responsibilities

· Mobile App Development

o Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

o Build reusable UI components and libraries for scalable apps.

o Ensure responsive layouts and consistent user experiences across devices.

· Integration & APIs

o Integrate apps with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, Firebase, and third-party SDKs.

o Work with backend engineers to design efficient data flows.

o Implement secure authentication, session management, and role-based access.

· Performance & Quality

o Optimize apps for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.

o Conduct unit, widget, and integration testing.

o Monitor crash logs and implement bug fixes proactively.

· Deployment & Support

o Manage build and release pipelines for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

o Automate build processes using CI/CD pipelines.

o Support post-release app monitoring, maintenance, and updates.

· Collaboration & UX

o Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI/UX.

o Collaborate in agile teams with product managers, QA, and backend engineers.

o Contribute to best practices, coding standards, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2+ years in Flutter & Dart.

· Strong understanding of mobile architectures, design patterns (MVVM, BLoC, Provider, Riverpod).

· Experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).

· Knowledge of local storage (SQLite, Hive), cloud sync, and push notifications.

· Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development practices.

Preferred Knowledge

· Experience with cross-platform performance optimization and Flutter Web/Desktop.

· Familiarity with secure coding practices in mobile development.

· Exposure to containerization and cloud backends (Firebase, AWS Amplify, GCP Firebase).

· Knowledge of app analytics and monitoring tools (Crashlytics, AppDynamics).
