Trainee Technician - Production (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Job Summary

Responsible role holder in the manufacturing process of Tableting section to carry out Compression activities (operation and cleaning) and perform other related activities as per cGMP requirement, company policies, sops and good documentation procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• To involve in execution of operation and cleaning of compression machine – GEA Courtoy Module S, GEA Courtoy Module D, Korsch XL 400, Korsch XL 800, Korsch XM 12 Pro.
• To handle and perform Operation, Cleaning & Calibration activities of equipment - Vernier caliper, Friabilator, Heat sealing machine, deduster, metal detector, Bin docking, IBC Wash Station, Tablet Hardness Tester, Tools, vacuum cleaner and other related equipment.
• To undergo and participate in relevant department and cross functional training (as and when assigned) in learning plan.
• To be a Qualified Operator and visual inspector as per Qualification process to handle necessary activities in compression section.
• To perform tablet /capsule visual inspection as per respective SOPs.
• To work inline with the cGMP requirement like (But not limited to) Status Labelling, In-Process test execution, environmental conditions and pressure difference monitoring, Weighing, Hygiene practices to be followed.
• To follow online documentation practices as per Good documentation procedure
• To execute batch as per instruction given in batch document (MMR).
• To involve in equipment/area qualification activities as per the requirement.
• To support and handle in the execution of equipment break down & alarms, movement of equipment, material and parts.
• To follow and adhere to safety and compliance aspects in all the steps in the production area.
• To perform all other duties, documentation and execution activities assigned by respective supervisor based on business and compliance requirement.

Job Requirements

• Education
  • Minimum degree in B.Sc / D.Pharm / Diploma / ITI / SSLC
    
    
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) & Good Documentation Practices.
  • Efficient communication, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Adequate knowledge to understand the written procedures and policies.
    
    
• Experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the production process
