Are you an expert problem-solver ready to drive high-impact cloud migrations and architecture strategies on a global scale? Trimble is looking for a visionary Staff Software Engineer to lead the evolution of our C#.NET cloud ecosystem, ensuring security and high-performance scalability while mentoring a talented engineering team across multi-cloud environments.
What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will be the definitive authority on large-scale database and compliance migrations, making high-impact architecture decisions that shape Trimble's long-term cloud ecosystem across AWS and Azure.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
• Spearhead complex software development and multi-cloud migration projects, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards.
• Design scalable, robust software solutions using C# and ASP.NET Core, utilizing Terraform for multi-cloud provisioning and New Relic for observability.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define the strategic roadmap and technical architecture for our evolving cloud systems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to software engineering teams, championing coding standards and engineering excellence.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Eight or more years of professional software development experience focused on C#.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
• In-depth architecture expertise across multi-cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience leading complex, large-scale database migrations and compliance-driven transitions.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Bonus Points For:
• In-depth proficiency with cloud security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• In-depth proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code and Docker for containerization.
• Hands-on mastery of full-stack telemetry and performance optimization using New Relic and Splunk.
