Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping efficient manufacturing processes and ensuring quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets are met. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Production, and Quality teams), participate in product design phases, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll specifically take care of macro-process design and line balancing during the specification phase, but also industrial documentation, workstation layouts, and retrofit industrialization after serial production starts.
We’ll look to you for:
Gathering and explaining industrial requirements to Engineering during specification and preliminary design phases.
Participating actively in product design in co-engineering mode, using appropriate methodologies.
Designing macro-processes based on standard SMP and estimating method times.
Completing industrial documentation, such as industrial data sheets and Industrial Maturity Follow-Up (IMFU).
Performing Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) and defining workstation layouts with a focus on ergonomics and EHS compliance.
Supporting production teams to achieve manufacturing QCD targets and industrializing retrofits after engineering changes.
Participating in R&D programs as an industrial representative and performing industrial deliverables like MBOM, routing, and work instructions using tools such as Delmia, GSI, and PLM.

Technical education (e.g., BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
Experience or understanding of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering (3 to 6 years, preferably in the railway industry).
Knowledge of process engineering, lean manufacturing, and writing manufacturing work instructions.
Familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up.
Working knowledge of quality, EHS standards, and ergonomics.
Proficiency in CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA).
Experience with Process FMEA and QRQC methodologies.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
