Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are effective and compliant. Additionally, the practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability around data management across the organization. This position demands continuous engagement with teams to promote comprehensive and sustainable data governance practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and mitigate data governance risks and challenges.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote data governance best practices.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and understanding.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in defining and implementing data quality standards and metrics.
- Ability to work with data management tools and platforms to monitor data compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to data stewardship and governance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
