Job Title: DevOps Engineer 

Reporting relationship: Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing scalable and secure containerized environments while ensuring high availability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for development, testing, and production environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor cluster health, application performance, and infrastructure availability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Configure and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
• Optimize resource utilization, scalability, and system reliability.
• Support production releases and provide operational support when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and orchestration.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
• Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, ingress controllers, and security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Good to Have

• Experience with multi-cluster Kubernetes management.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD, FluxCD, or other GitOps tools.
• Experience in production support and incident management.
