Adani Power Limited (APL): Adani Power Limited (APL), a part of the diversified Adani Group, is the largest private thermal power producer in India.We have a power generation capacity of 15,250 MW comprising thermal power plants in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand, and a 40 MW solar power project in Gujarat.

Job Purpose: This role is responsible for executing quality and excellence initiatives across all sites, ensuring compliance with ABEM standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role will also support head in monitoring performance, manage costs, and coordinate with stakeholders to execute business excellence strategies effectively.

Lead Business Excellence

Quality and Excellence Initiatives:

Provide support for implementation of Adani Business Excellence Model at all APEML sites, ensuring adherence to the model's standards and best practices.

Execute action plans derived from assessments and feedback, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.

Coordinate the preparation and submission of applications for RBNQA assessments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Execute the innovation initiatives for all Power plants.

Performance Monitoring and Cost Management:

Follow up on the progress and performance of stations, reporting observations and assessment feedbacks including discrepancies and areas for improvement.

Implement and monitor balanced scorecards at the station level, ensuring alignment with APEML's performance objectives.

Support the implementation of cost-cutting measures as discussed in APEX Council meetings.

Stakeholder Coordination and Reporting:

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of business excellence initiatives.

Prepare and review MIS reports, providing actionable insights to management and stakeholders.

Organize and set up council meetings, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared to discuss key issues.

Liaise with external vendors and organizations for the development of training programs and business excellence projects.

Training and Development Facilitation:

Assist in the organization and delivery of foundation programs and training for potential candidates.

Support station heads in preparing for site visit assessments, providing necessary documentation and coordination.

Contribute to the development and delivery of ABEM Foundation Training programs.

Aid in the capability development for tools and competencies related to business excellence.

Digitization and Automation:

Support the digitization strategy by contributing to the development and implementation of digital solutions.

Assist in the automation of processes to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Participate in the review and implementation of system improvements, incorporating innovative technologies.

Educational Qualification:

BE/B.Tech in any stream, MBA preferred.

Work Experience (Range of years):

8+ years with experience in Business Excellence projects and Six Sigma (preferred)

Preferred Industry:

Experience in the Power plant (O&M) /Energy sector or similar heavy industries.
