What you will do
As a Feature Owner for an automated report authoring platform, you will bridge business needs and Agile delivery by owning the definition, refinement, and successful execution of features within a broader product or program roadmap. You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, engineers, data teams, and end users to ensure features are clearly defined, prioritized appropriately, and delivered with quality.
This role is best suited for an experienced professional who works under general direction, applies knowledge of product and delivery practices to problems of diverse scope, contributes to project milestones, and provides day-to-day guidance within a workgroup.
Job Requirements
Partner with the product owner and stakeholders to clarify business needs and shape them into well-defined features and user stories.
Own feature-level backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, and readiness for Agile sprint planning.
Coordinate with engineering, data, QA, and business teams to resolve questions, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
Support prioritization decisions by surfacing tradeoffs, risks, and dependencies at the feature level.
Participate in solution discussions to ensure business requirements are translated accurately into implementable outcomes.
Support UAT planning, business validation, and release readiness activities.
Track feature progress, risks, and decisions and communicate status clearly to stakeholders.
Help document workflows, business rules, and process changes associated with delivered features.
Gather user feedback and operational insights to inform continuous improvement.
Contribute to team ways of working, documentation standards, and Agile best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate OR
Master's degree OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Agile delivery, business analysis, feature ownership, product support, or a related role.
Ability to translate stakeholder needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process requirements.
Experience working with digital products, analytics solutions, or data-centric platforms.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work items and follow through on delivery details.
Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration and clarifying requirements across technical and business teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with tools and practices for backlog management, issue tracking, and release coordination.
Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or other regulated environments preferred.
