Software Engineer

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing solutions on the Salesforce platform. Leveraging your deep expertise in Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and OmniStudio, you will develop scalable applications and complex processes that drive our digital transformation. You will work independently on challenging projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with integration developers to deliver seamless, end-to-end business solutions for a global user base.

Responsibilities • Solution Delivery: Take full ownership of complex development tasks, from technical design and estimation through to implementation, testing, and deployment. • Core Development: Design and develop scalable solutions using a mix of LWC, Apex, Flows, and the full OmniStudio suite to meet complex business requirements. • Pipeline & Environment Management: Actively manage and maintain Salesforce environments (sandboxes) and contribute to the CI/CD release pipeline to ensure smooth and reliable deployments. • Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide junior developers by conducting code reviews, enforcing platform best practices, and providing constructive feedback to foster their growth. • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions, ensuring clarity and long-term maintainability. • Global Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with a globally distributed and culturally diverse team—including Business Analysts, Architects, and Integration Developers—to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications 

Education Qualification No. of Years of Experience • 

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field. • 

Master's degree work in a related field is desirable. • 

Minimum of 5+ year of experience working with LWC, Apex, Flows, and the full OmniStudio suite Professional Exposure • Salesforce Platform Core: (Technical Skills) o Expert-level proficiency in Apex, including asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Future) for handling bulk data. o Strong hands-on experience building dynamic and responsive user interfaces with Lightning Web Components (LWC). o Mastery of Salesforce Flows for creating complex process automation. o Expertise in Salesforce integration patterns, encompassing both request-response (REST/SOAP APIs via Apex, Named Credentials) and real-time, event-driven architectures (Platform Events, Change Data Capture) o Deep understanding of Salesforce data models and sharing and security • OmniStudio (Vlocity): o Extensive experience developing with the OmniStudio suite, including creating complex OmniScripts for guided user processes. o Proven ability to build and optimize DataRaptors (Turbo, Extract, Load) and and Integration Procedures for efficient data manipulation and for orchestrating real-time integrations with external systems o Experience designing and building user-friendly interfaces with FlexCards. • Salesforce Clouds & Features: o In-depth knowledge of Service Cloud, including case routing logic Omni-Channel and permission management o Hands-on experience with or strong knowledge of Salesforce Automotive Cloud. o Proficiency in creating dynamic Lightning page layouts using Dynamic Forms and Action Preferred previous experiences • Experience implementing and building Salesforce capability in complex multi-national environment. • Experience of working within a large global cross-functional organization. • Experience working with developing teams with the ability to impart knowledge and best practice Functional Skills • Strong ability to accurately estimate development effort for assigned tasks and projects. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for debugging complex issues across the platform. • A methodical approach to technical design and the ability to produce high-quality documentation Behavioral Skills • Highly self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. • A collaborative and supportive mindset with a genuine passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team success Special Knowledge • Salesforce DevOps: o Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX and modern DevOps/DevSecOps practices. o Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). o Familiarity with writing or modifying pipeline configurations using YAML scripts is highly beneficial. • Release & Environment Management: o Deep understanding of sandbox management strategies and release management best practices within a Salesforce ecosystem. • Integration Architecture: o Knowledge of API design principles and event-driven architecture (e.g., Salesforce Platform Events) to facilitate effective collaboration with the Mulesoft developer.
