Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires engaging in coding activities, refining existing applications, and collaborating within an agile environment to ensure the delivery of efficient and scalable software that meets unique business requirements. Continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP SD environments effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP SD and other enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of data flow and process automation within sales and distribution operations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
