Dev Ops Engineering II-SUPPORT SERVICES-Applications-CTB
JOB ROLE:
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Coding skills in more than one of the languages like Python, Perl, Shell Script, Java
- Well versed with IAS (Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform)
- Well versed with CI/CD and how to setup different pipelines using AWS / Azure / Git DevOps tools
- Well versed with OS level commands, knowhow of Kubernetes, Docker Containerization, Packaging and Deployment.
- Well versed with Databases both SQL and NoSQLs.
- Well versed with Observability tools for – logging, monitoring and alerting.
- Well versed security aspects – https, ssl, secure containers, key vaults etc.
- Well versed with Incident Management, Change / Release.
