Adaptive Planning - Support consultant1We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with Finance and FP&A teams to transform their strategic planning processes into scalable, automated models within the Workday Adaptive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Model Design & Configuration: * Architect, build, and configure complex Workday Adaptive Planning models, including expense, personnel, revenue, and capital sheets.
Develop and maintain sophisticated formulas, versions, attributes, and dimensions to support dynamic business scenarios.
FP&A Collaboration & Consultation: * Act as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership, gathering business requirements and translating FP&A workflows into functional technical designs.
Build advanced reports, dashboards, and Office Connect templates to streamline financial reporting and executive presentations.
Data Integration & Governance: * Collaborate with IT and integration teams to design data integration pipelines from Workday Financials, external ERPs, HCM, and CRM systems into Adaptive Planning.
Ensure data integrity, reconcile variances, and manage the data upload process using Adaptive Integration tools.
System Maintenance & Training: * Manage security profiles, user access, and instance settings within Adaptive Planning.
Deliver comprehensive training sessions to end-users and power-users to drive high system adoption and self-sufficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Certification (Mandatory): Must hold an active, official Workday Adaptive Planning certification. Candidates without this certification will not be considered.
Adaptive Expertise: 3+ years of dedicated experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights).
Financial Acumen: Strong background in corporate finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting.
