Our Portfolio Focus: This role acts as a specialized subject matter expert for our premier structural engineering software suite, Tekla. Tekla solutions are utilized globally to model, detail, and execute complex constructible infrastructure projects, making intellectual property protection a critical pillar of our regional business health.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this high-visibility position, you will have a massive impact on regional revenue protection and market fairness across India & the SAARC territory. You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios, serving as the strategic "bridge" between legal enforcement and consultative sales. Working closely with corporate counsel, external law firms, specialized third-party auditing groups, and regional sales executives, you will have the autonomy to leverage state-of-the-art telemetry analytics tools, lead executive C-suite negotiations, and turn infringement issues into long-term customer success stories.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification & Analytics: Utilize specialized license compliance telemetry tools, analytics engines, and internal databases to investigate, track, and validate compliance prospects and unauthorized software usage.

  • Executive-Level Negotiations: Facilitate challenging compliance conversations and commercial reconciliation negotiations with client owners, principles, and C-level stakeholders, effectively mitigating complex pushback.

  • Audit Execution & Legal Enforcement: Partner with license compliance partners, external law firms, and third-party auditing firms to coordinate remote or on-site audits and enforcement raids. Analyze audit data to establish strategic negotiating positions.

  • Commercial Reconciliation & Sales Alignment: Convert compliance events into proactive reconciliation purchases, legal consolidations, and net-new business revenue. Collaborate with the regional sales team and authorized resellers to unlock expansion and up-selling paths.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain an expert-level understanding of Tekla software licensing models, End-User License Agreements (EULAs), corporate contracts, and regional legal compliance frameworks.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of direct professional experience within a software license compliance sales or specialized corporate revenue integrity environment.

  • Domain Literacy: Clear, demonstrable understanding of software violation metrics, copyright infringement parameters, intellectual property laws, and corrective measures implemented by enterprise software publishers.

  • Negotiation & Presence: Proven experience dealing directly with corporate principles, executives, and business owners in high-stakes legal or commercial situations, with the critical thinking to protect corporate interests while preserving market relationships.

  • Operational Analytics & Forecasting: Strong capability to qualify, scope, and close compliance deals with a customer-centric focus, alongside the ability to accurately forecast and report account activity in CRM systems.

  • Education: Graduate degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related professional discipline.

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience managing software compliance enforcement specifically within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or industrial engineering marketplace in India.

  • Established experience working directly alongside tier-1 auditing agencies or specialized intellectual property law firms in the SAARC region.

  • High proficiency in using professional social networks (e.g., LinkedIn) to map corporate compliance profiles.

Logistics:

  • Locations: Mumbai / Gurugram, India

  • Travel Requirement: Open to regional travel across India and the SAARC geography as required for audits, partner alignment, or on-site client negotiations.

  • Job Type: Full-Time
