Job Profile:

Senior Appian Developer – Banking, KYC & Financial Crime

We are looking for a Senior Appian Developer to join a strategic banking programme.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Appian. 
• Strong experience within the banking or financial services sector. 
• Proven track record delivering solutions across KYC, Client Onboarding, Financial Crime, or Compliance domains. 
• Experience supporting or implementing Transaction Monitoring processes and related case management workflows. 
• Exposure to Trade AI initiatives, intelligent automation, or AI-enabled operational processes within banking environments. 
• Strong knowledge of Appian components including Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Record Types, Data Fabric, Integrations, and Security. 
• Experience integrating Appian with external platforms, APIs, and banking systems. 
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and drive issues through to resolution. 

Mandatory:

• Fluent English (spoken and written) with the ability to interact directly with international stakeholders. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proactive, pragmatic, and delivery-focused mindset. 
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments. 

Nice to have:

• Appian certifications (Associate, Senior or Lead Developer). 
• Experience with AML, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Sanctions Screening, or Regulatory Compliance processes. 
• Experience working on digital transformation programmes within Tier 1 banking organisations. 

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Appian Developer who can engage with business stakeholders, understand complex banking processes, and deliver scalable solutions across KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Trade AI, and Financial Crime initiatives.
