We are hiring an Academic or Education Counselor to join our company and support admissions and student engagement for a medical university client.

Role: Academic Counsellor/Education Counsellor

Location: Hyderabad preferred

Experience: 3–4 years of experience as an Academic Counsellor for any Medical University

Salary: Up to 5 LPA + Incentives opportunity

As an education counselor, you will be responsible for providing supervision and assistance to Medical students from the US, Canada, and India during the application process. This includes providing support with admissions, financial aid, scholarships and other post-secondary education-related questions. You will also mentor students on their academic and extracurricular interests.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Assist in transitioning from high school to college, including advising on course selection, application process, financial aid options and navigating the culture.

* Advise students/ parents for their learning needs through structured Counseling Sessions.

* Fix appointments and conduct sessions on a daily basis, including follow up sessions.

* Handle Objections and Price negotiations to generate Sales Revenue.

* Learn/ Upgrade knowledge and Sales Skills to achieve and exceed growing Sales targets.

* Possess sound knowledge and understanding of consumer (students and parents) behavior.

Required skills and qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in counselling, education, psychology, or a related field.

* Must be proficient in languages: English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil

* Minimum experience of 3 to 4 years in education counselling or a related role.

* Ability to foster strong relationships with students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with students and their families.
