Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior Executive for Corporate Communications to manage and enhance our external communications strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and delivering key messaging to various stakeholders, maintaining the company’s brand image, and overseeing communication initiatives that support organizational goals.
Key responsibilites:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists
- Garner maximum coverage on press releases
- Pitch stories to the media and mange press interactions during key announcements or events
- Monitor and report on media coverage, analyzing impact
Strategic Communications:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with company objectives and enhance brand reputation.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management on media interactions
- Act as a liaison between the company and media outlets, ensuring positive press coverage and effective message management
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms including media, social media and internal comms
Crisis Communication:
- Support crisis communication efforts by providing timely, clear, and accurate messaging during critical situations.
- Work with leadership to manage reputational risks and issues effectively.
Event and Campaign Management:
- Coordinate communication activities for company events and press conferences
- Collaborate with the marketing team on integrated campaigns to strengthen the company’s presence in media
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 2-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage media relationships and media outreach
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
