As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer actively participates in refining software through iterative development cycles, focusing on meeting specific business requirements while adapting to evolving project needs. This position emphasizes innovation and problem-solving within a dynamic and agile work environment, contributing to the overall success of software initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the project.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Experience with ServiceNow platform customization and integration techniques.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance standards within software solutions.
- Ability to design and implement scalable workflows and automation within ServiceNow GRC modules.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to governance and compliance systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
