Title: Sr Test Engineer

Exp: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Working hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Manual Testing (Primary) 

• Analyse business, functional, and technical requirements and identify test scope 
• Design, review, and execute test scenarios and detailed test cases 
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, sanity, smoke, and UAT testing 
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps 
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage 
• Validate data using basic SQL queries as required 
• Ensure adherence to defined QA processes and quality standards 
• Provide test status reports, defect metrics, and quality sign-offs 
• Coordinate closely with Dev, Product, and Business teams 

Automation Testing 

• Ability to understand and execute existing automation scripts 
• Identify manual regression test cases suitable for automation 
• Basic experience or exposure to test automation tools such as:  
• Selenium / Playwright/Appium 
• Working knowledge of any scripting/programming language:  
• Java / TypeScript 
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman 
• Willingness to upskill and contribute more to automation over time 

• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect life cycle 
• Excellent hands-on experience in manual testing 
• Experience testing Web applications (Mobile is a plus) 
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies 
• Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools 
• Strong analytical and communication skills 
• Automation testing exposure 
• CI/CD awareness (Jenkins, Git, etc.) 
• Domain experience (Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, E‑commerce, etc.) 
• Attention to detail and quality mindset 
• Proactive and ownership-driven approach 
• Ability to mentor junior QA members 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
