Software Development Engineer in Test (QA)

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

• Perform functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through to closure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.

• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release activities.

• Monitor test execution results and provide timely status updates.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Hands-on experience in Automation testing methodologies.

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
