Tally Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Entries

1. Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally.
2. Pass journal, receipt, payment, and contra entries.
3. Maintain sales and purchase vouchers.
4. Accounts Receivable & Payable
5. Track customer receivables and vendor payments.
6. Follow up on outstanding payments.
7. Reconcile supplier and customer ledgers.

Bank Reconciliation

1. Perform bank reconciliations regularly.
2. Verify cash and bank balances.

GST & Tax Compliance

1. Prepare GST data and reports.
2. Assist in GST return filing.
3. Maintain tax-related records and documentation.

Payroll Support

1. Assist in salary processing.
2. Maintain employee reimbursement and expense records.

Financial Reporting

1. Generate Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances.
2. Prepare monthly MIS reports.
3. Provide financial data to management as required.

Inventory Management

1. Record stock transactions in Tally.
2. Monitor inventory movement and valuation.
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
4. Maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
5. Ensure proper filing and record retention.
