Job Title: Shift In-Charge

Location: That Curry Shop, Adyar, Chennai

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000/month (Depends on Interview)

Job SummaryThat Curry Shop is looking for an experienced and responsible Shift In-Charge to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead the team during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills and experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage day-to-day restaurant operations during the shift.
• Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve service and operational standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and shift schedules.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness as per company standards.
• Handle billing, cash management, and daily shift closing procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and report inventory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Prepare daily shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.
• RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Shift In-Charge, Team Leader, or Supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer handling abilities.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
