- Monitoring entry and exit gates.
- Checking the identity of employees and visitors.
- Patrolling the warehouse to prevent theft or unauthorized access.
- Watching CCTV cameras and reporting suspicious activity.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Responding to alarms, emergencies, or fire incidents.
- Maintaining a daily security log and reporting incidents.
- Ensuring safety rules and warehouse procedures are followed.
- Basic education (often 10th or 12th pass, depending on the employer).
- Good physical fitness and alertness.
- Good communication and observation skills.
