Reporting To: National Sales Manager / General Manager – Sales
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) / GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) composite products. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the composites industry, particularly in cooling tower manufacturing, rotor blade production, hand lay-up moulding, or similar FRP/GRP products.
Key Responsibilities· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
· Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors, and industrial customers.
· Promote and sell FRP/GRP composite products, including cooling tower components, rotor blades, and customized composite solutions.
· Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
· Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
· Coordinate with production, planning, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
· Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and monthly business plans.
· Handle customer complaints and provide effective after-sales support.
· Travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Composites Engineering, or any graduate with relevant industry experience.
· MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience· 5–10 years of experience in sales of FRP/GRP composite products.
· Experience in cooling tower manufacturing, rotor blade production, hand lay-up moulding, composite manufacturing, or similar industrial products is preferred.
Required Skills· Strong knowledge of FRP/GRP composite materials and manufacturing processes.
· Understanding of Hand Lay-up Moulding, Composite Manufacturing, and Industrial Applications.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Customer relationship management and business development expertise.
· Ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business.
· Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel extensively.
