Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and ensure smooth account handling. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, sales acumen, and basic computer proficiency. Experience with customer interaction, lead conversion, and business software such as Marg ERP will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Contact and follow up with leads provided by the company through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products/services.
- Convert prospective leads into successful sales.
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt service and support.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Account & Sales Management
- Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales-related documentation.
- Track payments and coordinate with customers regarding outstanding dues.
- Generate and maintain sales reports for management review.
Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Maintain customer databases and update CRM records regularly.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Assist management in sales planning and market development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or any related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer handling and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of computers and internet applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Marg ERP Software or similar accounting/inventory software.
- Ability to maintain records and generate reports.
