Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: Maintenance Engineer - EOT Cranes & Plant Machinery

Job Summary: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring maximum availability and reliability of CNC/VMC machines, EOT cranes, and other plant machinery through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues, planning maintenance activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC/VMC Machine Maintenance Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines.
• Monitor machine accuracy and coordinate periodic calibration activities.
• Conduct machine geometry checks and support alignment activities.
• Analyze recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with OEMs for major repairs and software backup/restoration.

EOT Crane Maintenance

• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of EOT cranes.
• Maintain hoists, wire ropes, brakes, gearboxes, limit switches, motors, VFDs, festoon systems, and safety devices.
• Conduct inspections and support load testing activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance and crane safety requirements.

Educational Qualifications: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience: 3–8 years of experience in maintenance of CNC/VMC machines in manufacturing industries.

Experience with EOT cranes and plant utilities will be an added advantage.

Exposure to machine tool maintenance in automotive, precision machining, heavy engineering, or fabrication industries is preferred.
