Design Engineer (Mechanical Car Parking Systems)

Role Objective:-

We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer to spearhead the layout and structural design of our multi-level mechanical and hydraulic car parking systems. You will be responsible for transforming site dimensions into functional, safe, and optimized parking blueprints that bridge the gap between mechanical hardware and civil infrastructure.

• Key ResponsibilitiesLayout Design: Create optimized 2D and 3D layouts for various parking systems (Puzzle, Stack, Tower, or Rotary) based on specific site constraints.
• Structural Analysis: Perform rigorous structural modeling and stress analysis using STAAD.Pro to ensure the safety and stability of steel structures.
• Civil Coordination: Review and interpret civil architectural drawings to determine pit depths, clear heights, column positions, and load-bearing requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and "As-Built" drawings for site execution teams.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet Indian Standards (IS) for steel structures and safety protocols specific to automated parking.
• Site Support: Collaborate with Project Managers to troubleshoot design-related issues during the installation and commissioning phases.
• Required Skills & QualificationsSoftware Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and STAAD.Pro is mandatory.
• Civil Literacy: Strong ability to read and synchronize civil foundation plans with mechanical equipment layouts.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of hydraulic systems, gear-motor mechanisms, and steel fabrication processes.
• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Candidates with a Mechanical background and strong structural experience are preferred).
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to maximize parking capacity within limited or irregular urban spaces.
