Sales Manager – Industrial Films & Packaging Products

Multi Speciality Extrusions Private Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality polymer films and packaging materials, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and its corporate office at Lawrence Road, Delhi. Our product range serves diverse industries including packaging, pharmaceuticals, food processing, printing, and consumer goods across India.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales across the following product lines:
- PVC Soft Films
- PVC Heat Shrink Films
- PVC Lamination Films
- PET Sheet Thermoforming Rolls
- 3-Layer PE Films
- Collar Bands
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated Sales Manager with strong B2B industrial sales acumen. The candidate will own the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to sampling, order closure, and payment collection — primarily targeting factories, converters, and manufacturers across Delhi NCR and other Indian regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Database Building
- Systematically research and build a database of prospective buyers from IndiaMart, TradeIndia, JustDial, industry directories, and other online/offline sources.
- Identify target industries such as packaging, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, printing, agriculture, and retail that use PVC/PET/PE films and related products.
- Maintain and regularly update a CRM / prospect database with contact details, requirements, and interaction history.
2. Cold Calling & Outreach
- Conduct targeted cold calling to connect with purchase managers, production heads, and decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
- Pitch company products confidently over phone, follow up diligently, and convert leads into meetings and site visits.
- Generate a healthy pipeline of active prospects at all times and maintain weekly call reports.
3. Field Sales & Factory Visits
- Conduct regular in-person visits to factories, manufacturing units, and buyer offices in Delhi NCR and other Indian regions as required.
- Understand client production processes, packaging requirements, and film specifications to propose the right solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with key buyers through consistent field presence and reliable after-sales follow-up.
- Travel to other Indian regions periodically for business development and client engagement.
4. Product Sampling & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to arrange product samples tailored to client specifications (thickness, width, shrinkage, clarity, etc.).
- Ensure timely dispatch of samples and follow up for trial results and buyer feedback.
- Provide basic technical guidance to clients regarding correct application and handling of products.
5. Order Management
- Negotiate pricing, quantities, and terms in line with company guidelines to convert samples and inquiries into confirmed purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the production and dispatch team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Manage order documentation including quotations, proforma invoices, and purchase order acknowledgements.
6. Payment Collection
- Monitor outstanding payments from clients and follow up proactively for timely collections.
- Coordinate with the accounts team on payment dues, credit limits, and overdue accounts.
- Build a culture of accountability with clients regarding payment timelines from the very first order.
7. Reporting & Target Achievement
- Report daily to the office (Lawrence Road, Delhi) and present updates on sales activities, pipeline, and closures.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by management.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports covering calls made, visits done, samples dispatched, orders received, and collections made.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Sc. / B.Com / B.Tech preferred). MBA in Sales/Marketing is an advantage.
Experience
- 3 to 8 years of proven experience in B2B / industrial product sales.
- Prior experience selling polymer films, packaging materials, industrial consumables, or related products will be strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of cold calling, field sales, and achieving revenue targets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in Hindi and English.
- Ability to read and understand basic product specifications (film gauge, shrinkage %, clarity, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for maintaining prospect and sales data.
- Familiarity with IndiaMart, TradeIndia, or similar B2B sourcing platforms for prospecting.
- Self-starter with high drive, persistence, and ability to handle rejection in cold outreach.
- Owns a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for field visits (preferred).
