Mechanical Design Engineer

1. Educational Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree: B.E., B.Tech in Mechanical only with atleast 2 years experience
• Diploma:   Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with atleast 4 years experience .

2. Technical Skills & Tools

• CAD Proficiency: Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Top software tools include:
• SolidWorks
• AutoCAD (for 2D layouts and detailing)
• Drafting Standards: Deep knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis. 
• Engineering Principles: Understanding of material selection, mechanics, kinematics, and structural integrity. 
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of sheet metal forming such as laser cutting, bending, welding, CNC machining. 
• Simulation (FEA/CFD): Ability interpret structural, thermal, flow simulations. 
• Knowledge of pressure vessels, valves, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics/refrigeration/HVAC will be added advantage.

3. Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking: Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot design flaws.
• Project Management: Focus on time management and to fulfil time-lines
• Communication: Ability to explain design concepts to clients and team members.

4. Experience & Certifications

• Experience: Hands-on experience of atleast 2 – 4 years.
• Software Certifications .
