Store Incharge

A Store In-charge in a manufacturing plant oversees the end-to-end flow of raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods. They manage inventory levels, execute stock audits, ensure compliance with safety standards, and act as a critical link between procurement, production, and logistics to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.

Responsibilities

1)     Inventory Control: Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels of raw materials, consumables, and spares.

2)     Material Movement: Supervise the inward receipt of goods and verify quality against Purchase Orders (PO) before taking them into stock.

3)     Issuance & Dispatch: Issue materials to production following the FIFO & FEFO (First Expired First Out) systems, and handle finished goods dispatches.

4)     Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all inward and outward transactions, typically using Enterprise

Resource Planning (ERP) or SAP systems.

5)     Audits: Conduct routine physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with the ledger.

6)     Vendor & Finance Coordination: Follow up with vendors on delivery schedules and verify supplier bills before sending them to the Accounts.
