Process Coordinator
Location: Mumbai (Onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
At Siddhi Jewels, we take pride in crafting high quality, exquisite jewellery. Because jewellery manufacturing and sales involve multiple intricate stages—from initial CAD designs and sourcing gemstones to manual workshop labor (karigari), quality check, and final delivery—precision and timing are everything. We are seeking a highly organised, assertive, and detail oriented Process Coordinator to act as the operational backbone of our Mumbai team, ensuring strict time discipline across all departments.
Role Overview
As the Process Coordinator, your primary mission is to eliminate delays and instil a culture of time discipline across the company. You will not be designing or manufacturing the jewellry yourself; instead, you will ensure that every piece moves through design, production, workshop handoffs, and delivery exactly on schedule. You will be the central point of followup, ensuring no task falls through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
Relentless FollowUp:
Actively track the daily progress of orders and internal tasks across all departments (Design, Accounts, Sales, and the Workshop/Production floor).
Time Discipline Enforcement: Set, communicate, and enforce clear deadlines for various stages of the jewelry lifecycle. Identify bottlenecks early and push for immediate resolutions to keep orders on schedule.
Coordination with Vendors & Internal Teams
Act as the bridge between management, designers, and artisans (karigars or external vendors). Ensure raw materials and designs are handed over on time, and finished pieces are received as promised.
Daily Status Reporting
Maintain and update a master sheet/dashboard (such as Google Sheets or ERP) of all ongoing processes. Conduct brief daily checkins with department heads to review timelines and pending tasks.
Process Optimization: Document current workflows and identify areas where time or resources are being wasted, suggesting smarter ways to streamline operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in process coordination, operations, project coordination, or a similar followup intensive role. (Experience in the Mumbai jewelry markets—like Zaveri Bazar, SEEPZ, or BKC—or luxury retail/manufacturing is a huge plus but not mandatory).
The "FollowUp" Mindset: A polite yet firm demeanor. You must be comfortable holding colleagues, senior managers, and external vendors accountable to their deadlines.
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi is required to communicate effectively across both corporate teams and workshop artisans. Knowledge of Tamil or Malyalam is a strong advantage.
Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets is a must. Familiarity with jewelry ERP software or project management tools is highly desirable.
HyperOrganized: Outstanding time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple moving orders simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
