Job Description

Job SummaryThe Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing payments and receipts, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the company's financial management.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Accounting OperationsRecord daily accounting transactions.
  • Maintain the general ledger and books of accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • 2. Banking & PaymentsProcess vendor payments and customer receipts.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  • Monitor cash flow and bank balances.
  • Handle online banking transactions.
  • 3. Invoicing & BillingGenerate customer invoices.
  • Verify purchase invoices.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
  • Maintain customer and supplier account statements.
  • 4. Taxation & CompliancePrepare and file GST returns.
  • Manage TDS deductions and returns.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist during statutory and internal audits.
  • 5. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly MIS reports.
  • Assist in preparing Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Prepare expense analysis reports.
  • 6. Payroll SupportCoordinate payroll processing.
  • Verify attendance and salary calculations.
  • Process employee reimbursements and advances.
  • 7. Inventory & Cost ControlVerify inventory records with stores.
  • Monitor stock valuation.
  • Support cost analysis and budgeting.
  • 8. DocumentationMaintain accounting vouchers and supporting documents.
  • Organize financial records for audit purposes.
  • Ensure proper filing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
  • 9. Vendor & Customer ManagementReconcile supplier statements.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding receivables.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • 10. ERP & SoftwareWork with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data.
  • Generate financial reports from the ERP system.
