NDT Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate NDT Trainer to deliver theoretical and practical training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. The trainer will be responsible for preparing students for industry certification, conducting practical sessions, and ensuring compliance with ASNT and other applicable industry standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom and hands-on training in NDT methods such as VT, PT, MT, UT, RT, ET, PAUT, and TOFD.
• Prepare and update training materials, presentations, practical exercises, and assessments.
• Conduct theory and practical examinations and evaluate trainee performance.
• Guide students for ASNT Level I and Level II certification preparation.
• Demonstrate the proper use, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable industry codes and standards.
• Maintain student attendance, training records, and assessment reports.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and career support to trainees.
• Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies, standards, and industry practices.
• QualificationsDiploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
• ASNT Level II certification in one or more NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT preferred).
• 3–5 years of industrial NDT inspection and/or training experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training documentation.
• Preferred SkillsStrong technical knowledge of NDT codes and standards.
• Excellent classroom management and practical demonstration skills.
• Ability to mentor and motivate students.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for corporate or client training programs, if required.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
