Job Description
Job Summary:An AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role ensures systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Key Responsibilities:Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems (split, window, central AC)
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC units
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning filters, checking gas levels, and servicing components
- Repair or replace defective parts like compressors, motors, and thermostats
- Handle refrigerant charging and leak detection
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns
- Maintain service records and job reports
- Provide customers with usage and maintenance guidance
