Job Description

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities by targeting Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients, Housing Societies (CHS), and government entities, according to this Instahyre job description and this LinkedIn job description.


Sales Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including cold calling, presentations, negotiations, and closing agreements for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or RESCO/PPA projects.


Technical Proposal Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare customized proposals, financial models, ROI calculations, and technical designs for clients.

Market Analysis & Strategy: Monitor industry trends, government subsidy schemes (e.g., PM Surya Ghar), net metering policies, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies


Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, contractors, and clients.


Experience: 1-5+ years in business development or sales, specifically within the solar/renewable energy sector.


Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV systems, net metering, and PPA structures.


Skills: Strong negotiation, networking, communication, and CRM software proficiency.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Annual and monthly sales revenue targets.
  • Number of qualified leads and conversion rate of prospects to signed contracts.
  • Total kW/MW capacity added to the pipeline
