Job Description

The Assistant Blender & Production Support Executive will work closely with the Master Blender and Production Manager to support blending operations, production planning, quality assurance, inventory management, and documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the science and art of spirit production while gaining hands-on experience across the manufacturing process.



Key Responsibilities

Blending Support

  • Assist the Master Blender in preparing blending batches according to approved formulations.
  • Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients accurately.
  • Support sampling, tasting sessions, and product evaluations.
  • Maintain strict consistency across production batches.
  • Ensure recipes and blending records are accurately maintained.
  • Assist in developing trial blends and product innovations.

Production Support

  • Coordinate daily production activities with the operations team.
  • Prepare production materials and ensure timely availability.
  • Support bottling, packaging, labeling, and dispatch operations.
  • Monitor production schedules and help achieve daily production targets.
  • Assist in machine setup and changeovers where required.
  • Coordinate with procurement for raw material requirements.

Quality Control

  • Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs, and food safety standards.
  • Assist in collecting quality control samples.
  • Ensure products meet internal quality specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within production and blending areas.
  • Report any deviations or quality issues immediately.
  • Ensure all key metrics for blend are met.

Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain records of raw materials, blending batches, finished goods, and production logs.
  • Assist with stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
  • Support excise and statutory documentation as required.
  • Ensure traceability of production batches.

General Operations

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist during audits and inspections.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures.
  • Perform other production-related responsibilities assigned by management.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Distillation Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • 0–2 years of experience in beverage, FMCG, food processing, brewery, winery, distillery, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Understanding of IMFL spirits is a must.
